Fun Bible Lessons For Kids - 3 Keys To Unlock Your Creativity

What are the 3 keys to creating fun Bible lessons for kids?
    PrayAssembleFlow
Key 1 -- Pray Here is the good news. You don't have to do this by yourself! You have been assigned a helper to create your Bible lessons for kids! Very cool, huh? Your helper is the Holy Spirit and he is waiting to brainstorm with you. All you have to do is set up a brainstorming session. Pray and ask for ideas... creative ideas. After all, who knows creativity better than the the one who created heaven and earth? The Holy Spirit knows what kids will be present and how to reach those kids. Ask him to guide you through the process of creating a Bible lesson that will be fun, engaging, and relevant to each kid. Prayer is the first and most important key to unlock the creativity that God put inside each and every one of us. How can I say that? The Bible says that we are created in God, the creator's image!Key 2 -- Assemble Please don't wait until the last minute for this step. You must allow sufficient time for the creative process to play out. How cool would it be to pray for ideas and then receive an idea instant download? Unfortunately it doesn't work that way. Most often your ideas will gradually come as you move through your everyday life. Write these ideas down as you receive them. Take the individual pieces and begin to drop them into the different lesson sections such as: Bible story, Bible games, Bible activities, Bible skits, etc. The Holy Spirit will lead you through the assembly process and you will begin to see the Bible lesson take shape.Key 3 -- Flow This is an important key. When you ask the Holy Spirit to brainstorm with you be ready for some out of the box ideas. Are you prepared to flow with those ideas and pieces that are dropped into your spirit? Are you willing to take some risks and try some new methods? If you are then you are well on your way to creating awesome, effective and fun Bible lessons for kids! One more thing... going with the flow doesn't stop with the creative assembly process I have just shared. You must also be willing to flow in the classroom as the Holy Spirit leads and guides you through your Bible lesson. Often, you are led through twists and turns in your lesson as it unfolds. This may be uncomfortable to you at first. But, as you continue to flow it becomes fun and breathes life into your Bible lesson for kids!
